Claudine Barreto, next Kapuso star to transfer to Kapatid?

According to news, Claudine Barreto started taping for the TV5's “Untold Stories” with Jay Manalo. "Untold Stories" is a weekly docu-drama anthology on TV5 and features stories featured on "Face to Face."

The Optimum Star is now a freelance artist since her contract with GMA Network has already expired so the speculations are getting higher since the controversial actress can transfer to the Kapatid Network at any moment.

Claudine must remember that the Tulfo Brothers are all working in TV5 and there will be a very big chance that they're all going to meet each other. Will there be another NAIA brawl if ever or at least peace talks between them? We'll see...

Pareho nang recording artists ang GMA Artist Center talents na sina Bea Binene at Barbie Forteza. Tuwang-tuwa ang dalawa’t hindi inisip na darating ang araw na magkakaroon sila ng album.

Mauunang i-release ang Hey, It’s Me Bea album under PolyEast Records dahil August na ang launching. Ayaw ipaalam kung ilang tracks meron ang album na ang remake ng Urong Sulong ni Regine Velasquez ang carrier single.

Malakas na “yes!” at may kasunod na high five ang sagot ni Barbie nang tanungin namin kung gagawa rin siya ng album. Dream come true raw ito sa kanya, kaya malaki ang pasasalamat sa MCA Records na nagtiwala sa kanya. Bandang October pa magsisimulang mag-record si Barbie dahil pinaghahandaang mabuti ang songs na isasama sa album.

Nakuwento ng mom ni Barbie na may kinalaman si Greyson Chance kung bakit kinuhang recording star ng MCA ang young actress. Nakita si Barbie nang dumalo sa presscon ni Greyson Chance nang mag-concert ito rito at doon nagsimula ang lahat.

Kinu-consider ni Barbie na birthday gift ang ire-record na album kahit noong July 31 pa ang birthday niya at sa October pa siya magre-recording. Excited na itong makita ang songs na kanyang ire-record.

Samantala, this week na magkikita uli sina Blanca (Barbie) at Luna (Bea) sa Luna Blanca malalaman na rin ni Blanca na si Luis ang ama niya. Ang aabangan ng viewers ay kung paanong magiging sina Blanca at Kiko (Derrick Monasterio) at Luna at Aki (Kristoffer Martin).

Bea Binene's "Hey, It's Me Bea!" Album

Nakikipagsabayan si Bea Binene kay Julie Anne San Jose sa pagre-release ng album at mukhang mauuna pang maging available ang album ni Bea sa music stores dahil kahapon available na siya. Ang physical album ni Julie Anne, this week pa lang available dahil binaha ang supplier, kaya inuna sa iTunes.

Released ng Galaxy Records at distributed ng PolyEast Records ang Hey, It’s Me Bea! ang all-revival album.

Ang title track ay original ni Jamie Ri­vera, ang carrier single ay original ni Regine Velasquez. Kasama rin ang remake ng Mahal Kita Walang Iba na duet nila ni Jake Vargas at may solo version siya ng the same song.

Kapamilya star Rica Peralejo denies plans of transferring to Kapuso

It should be recalled that the news about Star Magic artist Rica Peralejo's alleged transfer to the Kapuso Network broke out last week when a certain blind item about a comebacking Kapuso actress who never played a lead role on ABS-CBN but also has talents on singing and hosting which is likely matched with Peralejo.

As an answer to the asking fans, Peralejo posted this on Twitter earlier today:

Peralejo became well known for her roles in horror movies such as "Malikmata" and it was because of these movies that the Philippine media alternately dubbed her "Horror Queen" and "Scream Queen". Peralejo was last seen in the 'Cross-stitch' episode of "MMK" where she played the role of Abby early this year.

Sunud-sunod ang lumilipat sa GMA Network galing sa ABS-CBN. Nauna na rito sina Dino Imperial at Roxanne Guinoo, na sinundan ni Agot Isidro at isang direktor na kasalukuyang humahawak ng Protege.

Kumpirmado na rin ang paglipat ni direk Dondon Santos para mag-direk ng Indio, ang epic fantasy at first soap ni Sen. Bong Revilla sa GMA 7 kasama sina Rhian Ramos at Jennlyn Mercado.

Pipirma na rin ng kontrata sa GMA Artist Center at GMA 7 si Lauren Young na si Pia Magalona ang manager. May aktres din na nagsimula sa Channel 7, lumipat sa Channel 2 at ngayon ay babalik sa Kapuso.

Lilipat din ang guwapong aktor na matagal nang Kapamilya. Hinintay nitong mag-expire ang kontrata sa ABS-CBN, maayos na nagpaalam kung puwede siyang lumipat. Naghanap ng bagong manager at dapat last Tuesday, nakipag-meeting na sila ng bagong manager sa bossing ng Channel 7 pero dahil sa malakas na ulan, hindi natuloy ang kanilang meeting. Pero tuloy na ang kanyang paglipat at may project na agad na gagawin, bukod sa guesting, agad siyang bibigyan ng regular show.

Naniniwala si LJ na nakatulong ang ginawa niya sa Intoy Syokoy para mas mabigyan siya ng pansin ng kanyang home network.

Sabi niya, “Malaki talagang tulong kapag nakikita nila.

“Kung hindi ka naman nabibigyan ng project para ipakita mo yung talagang talent mo o skill mo, walang makakaalam.

“Walang makakapagpatunay kung ano yung kaya mong gawin.

“So, thankful din talaga ako sa Intoy Syokoy na napakita ko at marami naman ang nakaramdam.”

Rafael Rosell to be seen on GMA's "Aso ni San Roque" and Tempatation of Wife Remake

Nakipag-meeting pa lang ang actor sa management ng GMA Network at next week na ang pirmahan ng Contract.

Unang show ni Rafael sa Channel 7 ang Aso ni San Roque, as guest at agad sya isasalang sa Pinoy adaptation ng Koreanovela na Temptation of Wife siya ilalagay bilang isa sa leading men ni Marian Rivera.

Siya ang bagong makakapareha ng aktres. Kundi magbabago, si Rafael ang gaganap sa role ni Nigel, si Dennis Trillo sa role ni Marcel at si Marian bilang si Angeline.

Facebook tests new 'postcard' feature

Social networking juggernaut Facebook is now testing a feature that lets users convert their Facebook photos into physical postcards.

Tech site Mashable said the test is available to a "select" few, with a Facebook representative saying they are tweaking price points for the service.

"Just like a traditional postcard, the photo will be displayed on the front of the card, and you can type a personalized message to your friend on the backside," Mashable said.

It added the postcards will allow a user to type in his or her friend’s address, or ask the friend for his or her physical address.

The feature started as a hackathon project, the feature allows Facebook users to send any of their own photos to friends.

However, Mashable said Facebook users may not be able to send public photos or photos from pages.

Birthday girl Marian Rivera leads blood donation drive

Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera opts to celebrate her 28th away from the showbiz glitz and spotlight. A day prior to her birth date, Marian is set to lead the Philippine Red Cross Blood Donation Drive on August 11 (Saturday) at the Ever Gotesco Commonwealth from 12nn to 6pm.

And no, she is not wearing Darna’s red cape to come to the rescue of the underdogs. She comes there plain – armed only with humane compassion for others.

"Nagpunta ako rito hindi bilang artista," she said over primetime newscast ‘24 Oras’ in reference to another Philippine Red Cross mission in Quezon City where she serviced the victims of the monsoon rains. "Nagpunta ako rito para tumulong sa kanila, magbigay ng pagkain at para maiparamdam sa kanila na anuman ang nangyari sa kanila, nandiyan ang Red Cross para sa kanila."

In anticipation of her birthday’s meaningful endeavor, Marian shares, “Sobra-sobrang biyaya ang ipinagkaloob sa akin ni Lord. GMA7 and PLDT Shares fell amidst pending news on TV5-GMA Merger!

PLDT Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan said the telco is prepared to seal a deal to acquire the broadcaster within the deadline earlier given by GMA Network Chairman Felipe L. Gozon.

“We have an appreciation of that deadline,” Mr. Pangilinan said, noting however that this excludes delays that may be posed by regulators.

“We can agree, but if somebody else approves the transaction, it’s beyond our control,” said Mr. Pangilinan, who nodded when reporters asked if funding for the acquisition is at hand.

Mr. Pangilinan said last month that his camp has moved to approach banks for funding.

PLDT was also seen selling off assets, such as its 26% stake in PhilWeb Corp.

Lauren Young, the sister of StarStruck Alumna Megan Young is set to sign a contract with GMA Network this September.

Her manager will be Pia Magalona, the mother of Elmo Magalona and co-managed by GMA Artist Center (GMAAC).

Rafael Rosell has reportedly talked with the top honchos of GMA Network last Thursday, August 9, to become the newest Kapuso leading man!

Rafael’s contract with ABS-CBN has just expired and his last project with the network was the Piolo Pascual-Jericho Rosales starrer “Dahil sa Pag-ibig.”

According to reports, the 29-year-old actor will guest star first in the upcoming drama series “Aso ni San Roque” before he takes the plum role of becoming Marian Rivera‘s leading man in the Philippine adaptation of the top-rating Koreanovela “Temptation of Wife.”
Rafael is scheduled to sign the contract with the Kapuso Network next week.

GMA Network New Station ID 2012 (Included SID Download Link)

GMA Network updated it's Station ID (SID) entitled "Makulay Ang Buhay" and launched last Monday, August 6, 2012 after 24 Oras. Featuring in the Station ID are the brightest stars of the network like Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Benjamin Alves, Jennylyn Mercado, Rhian Ramos, Richard Gutierrez, Sarah Lahbati, Tween Stars, Eat Bulaga Dabarkads, Regine Velasquez, Julie Anne San Jose, Elmo Magalona, GMA News Team and many more!

Here's the statement of the Network regarding it's SID Production:

"GMA Network, Inc. (GMA) upgrades local television’s production values in its newest station ID (SID) to premiere soon over GMA-7.

During the shoot, multi-awarded film cinematographer and GMA VP for Post Production Edward Achacoso said that the Network invested multimillions to acquire state-of-the-art production and editing tools for the project.

“We had major add-ons in this year’s budget for the procurement of best-of-class high definition cameras and graphics machines. These tools are of the same standards as those used in Hollywood movies such as Transformers and Avengers,” he said.

Achacoso also said that this year’s SID has the biggest production pool, composed of 180 personnel.

“We hope to top the current GMA SID in terms of production and editing values,” he said.

Achacoso’s team is the same team behind the New York Festivals award-winning LupangHinirang ID, which also airs in cinemas nationwide.

The SID featuring the Kapuso theme song that first aired in 2002, will have an updated version to air on GMA. — ELR, GMA News"

The new and updated SID were sung by Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez and Multimedia Princess Julie Anne San Jose. The duet was GREAT!
